Nde Ningo, born in Mankon-Bamenda 72 years ago, received a BSc (First Class) in Electronics Engineering from Brighton University and an MSc in Telecommunications Engineering Systems from the University of Essex, both in England. During his professional life he was intimately involved in the development and transformation of the analogue national telecommunications network to a digital network with a cellular component and the liberalization of the telecommunications sector. Since retirement he has taught telecommunications engineering in the National School of Posts and Telecommunications, the College of Technology- University of Buea, as well as setting up the telecommunications engineering program and coordinating its teaching at ICT University Yaoundé, Cameroon. He is the President of the Bamenda Seven Association, a sociocultural association whose primary objective is the development of the city of Bamenda.
