Roger Nwancha Tikum is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Cameroon Green Building Council (GBC CAM), one of the strongest local-regional-global networks I.e., the World Green Building Council which has around 70 Green Building Councils. GBC Cam and their members working hand in hand to open the green door to the future.
GBC CAM aim at greening where we live, work, play and heel ourselves. To achieve this, GBC CAM works with organisations, businesses, governmental entities to drive the ambitions of the Paris Agreement and UN Sustainable Development Goals. Through advocating, educating, certifying and developing green projects, this council thrives to deliver a net zero carbon, healthy, resilient and equitable built environment.
Prior to founding GBC CAM 2019, he was the CEO of Ets Zina Décor, a construction company oriented toward ecological building. His active nature and creativity led him in taking part in major construction project in Equatorial Guinea and his home country Cameroon. He also has expertise in building certification.
Roger earned a degree in Civil engineering from the National Advanced School of Public Works Yaoundé in partnership with the university of Padova and his master’s degree in Town Planning option Eco construction in the same school.
